Phiet's Piano Method is
a series of twelve books encompassing basic
principles of piano playing with great emphasis
on the feelings of pulse and rhythm. As
a complement to the basic technical exercises,
a selection of short compositions serves to
illustrate the intended purposes.
Invited speakers commented on Ms. Thuyet Phiet's new methods of piano playing. To illustrate her pedagogic principles derived from
Piano Method, Ms. Thuyen Phiet had her students perform selected compositions.
