Mid-Autumn Children's Festival 1999

On Saturday, September 25, 1999, the Washington D.C. Vietnamese Community hosted Tet Trung Thu to bring the children in our community together. This year during Tet Trung Thu Vietnamese Americans would like to not only conduct this festival for their children but also to share their culture with children of other ethnic groups. The celebration was intended to bring smiles to children by engaging participants in Vietnamese traditional and cultural activities and providing them with toys.

 

PROGRAM:

 2:00-2:15 Opening 
 2:15-2:30 Dragon Dance
2:30-4:30 Games 
4:30-5:30 Snack
5:30-6:00 Games
 6:00-7:00 Toy Distribution to the Children
7:00-7:30 Clean up
